Abstract

Purpose: bone subtraction for treatment of patients with chronic rhinosinusitis with additional complex pharmacotherapy in the postoperative period.

Materials and Methods: The main group included 49 patients who, in addition to traditional approaches, were treated with the drugs Sinudafen, Sesorin and Sparklin. After surgical intervention, 32 patients in the control group washed out the nasal toilet and nasal shower with salt rubs.

Results: The use of complex pharmacotherapy in the early postoperative period was found to be effective in terms of normalization of scars and rhinoscopy picture indicators. The incidence of hyperemia and swelling of the mucous membrane, the elimination of visible lesions in the nasal passages of patients in the main group was significantly higher than in the control group of patients. The presence of cells with a significant difference (P<0.01) changes as early as the 7th day of treatment and on the 14th day, but the leadership remains unchanged at P<0.01. The appearance also changes on the 7th day of treatment (P<0.05), and on the 14th day at P>0.05. A significant difference between the control and main groups (P<0.05) was recorded on the 14th sample.

Conclusions: The use of complex pharmacotherapy in the early postoperative period was found to be effective in terms of normalization of scars and rhinoscopic picture indicators.

Key words: chronic rhinitis, rhinosinusitis, deviated nasal septum, surgical treatment, postoperative period, pharmacotherapy.
